New Tax Information for 2011
The Tax Relief Act was signed on December 17, 2010. As a result of the late passage, many taxpayers are going to have to wait to until February 15, 2011 to file their returns. This mainly affects taxpayers who Schedule A, or claim above-the-line deductions for higher-education tuition and fees or educator expenses. We are able to complete your returns, but we will not be able to electronically file them until February 15th. The Tax Relief Act extends, renews or enhances a large number of individual tax incentives, among the most far reaching being reduced individual income tax rates and an across-the board payroll tax cut for 2011.
